Squid Sighting: Packeteer “iShared”

I came across references to Squid in recent Packeteer iShared release notes (for the FlexInstall, at least.) Inspecting an install of iShared revealed that they’re indeed using Squid for caching in some of their products. Packeteer acquired the iShared technology from Tacit Networks some time ago; but its warming to see Squid used in modern commercial appliances.
